The Board Room & Coporate Photography

It's taken me awhile to find the confidence to finally post this up, but yes ...

A while back I had my first "Board Room" meeting with my "big sister" Ate Gertrude, here's why.
 

The Board Room meeting we had awhile back was a meeting to jump start my involvement with her company. My Ate Gertrude works for a contracting firm that does renovations for businesses and they need a photographer to take pictures of the spaces they've renovated in use as well as provide the company's newer clients visual examples of their current work. More photos ... more freelance, Praise God.

My first shoot was back in February, and my second shoot is tomorrow. YAY!

Book maker

So far I have three published and printed books in my name, the fourth and latest one has been created but not yet printed and or purchased {which is the wedding book for Rang and Wesley}. I've also made one as a present, and received one as a present as well. These little books have been my joy and maybe you too should make a book of your own.

Yon Wedding

I figured I'll never be able to share them all but here are a handful of wedding photos I took at Wes & Rang's Georgia wedding. It's not a whole lot, and they are all pre-ceremony shots but I've got little time time upload more. Enjoy.

I do Tabo

Ok ... so I'm going to do something a bit "tabo" here and simply share a handful of photos of last weekend's wedding dress, not the wedding itself just yet. I've got sooo much to share, and so many photos to filter through, I've even forgotten about some of the shots I actually did take while going though them again. But for now I just wanted to share these. It's a bit tabo to share the dress first, like showing the dress to the groom before the wedding, but I can't help myself {and plus Mr. Groom is off with his Mrs. to Saint Lucia and has already seen the dress so I'm pretty safe to share them}. Enjoy!

As lovely as the dress looks hung,

it was even more gorgeous on Rang,

who one was stunning bride.

Ok I'm a sucker for details, and I love the

delicate bead work on Rang's dress, I just can't

decide which version of the photo I like best.

Georgia Sunshine

After a long night of tossing and turning with excitement, laying next to whom else but the Bride herself {yes I was the lucky gal who got to turn in with the lovely bride the night before her day of wedded bliss ... hahah she's like my big sister ok ... whom too, could not sleep with sheer excitement and a bit of nervousness}, I was awaken a few moments ago by a wake up call and the morning Georgia sunlight fighting to get in through the cracks of the drapes closed all around me in this darling, and empty Presidential suite in a cottage {really ... a mansion} on the beautiful Jekyll island.

As I pulled back more of the drapes I couldn't help but smile at the beautiful old Oak trees dancing with spanish moss all around me with palm trees lining the paved roads drenched in sunshine in a cloud
filled sky.

But as I ferverently type this post out ... the clouds are beginning to roll in on this beautiful Saturday morning ... let's just hope and pray that it clears for the beautiful wedding that awakes us at the other end of this day. To say it is beautiful down here is an understatement.

As for the beautiful bride, she has already left for the morning to be pampered and dolled up ... and I stay to capture all the small details of the beautiful place on film and help polish off the day with decorations and smiles.

Happy wedding day ate Rang & Wes.

It's going to be one lovely day.

My best shoot{s} to date!

I just had to give you a little peak at the work I did this weekend. I'm dying to share them all, but I doubt I'll even get to do that any time soon with all that I've got going on this week. I do realize that this little set of photos have the same type of composition, I just loved that in all 3 locations I go such dynamic lighting and backdrops which made the same essential shot different in each of the locations.  Also, I  guess I will just go on ahead and share a little about where and when I did the shoots.

Rang & Wes' engagment shoot{s} have been my largest project so far, 3 locations in two days, and  it has also been the most fun I've had shooting ... aesthetically, and literally. The first day I shot at the couple's apartment complex in lovely Old town Alexandria, then we moved the shoot to The National Harbor, which was my first visit there {but it certainly won't be my last}, and the next morning {the most beautiful Sunday morning I've had in awhile} we went Downtown for some great shots.

I loved this weekend's shoot, as exhausting as it was ...

I had the greatest time doing it.

I can't wait to share more.

"I can hear the bells"

Last week the weddings bells were ringing loud and clear ... here {after much delay} are the pictures from Richa & Jacob's wedding.

The day before the wedding, as my family does
every wedding ... we decorated the church

Then the wedding day came.

Upon arrival at the church I found the groom a bit nervous but ready for the big day to get going, and the church was just as lovely as we left it the night before {My mom alway does a beautiful job at weddings, I'm so proud of her.}

While waiting for the bride to make her way to the church, the groom got read and dressed with the help of his loving family.

Then the bride and all arrived, bouquet and all.

Sneaking into the church...

As I made myself comfy in the sanctuary a lovely couple
and I had a exchanging of pleasantries. And as I fast forward to the good stuff ...

The bridal march begain ...


Petals fell ...


... and heads turned ...

Then the bride made her way down the aisle.

The view from the ballroom was beautiful.


It was beautiful inside as well .

They also had an amazing live band ... that I've come to the conclusion I will also have for my wedding some day. These guys were so amazing and played every song possible ... and the lead singer sounded like Micheal Buble.

Then they cut the cake.







Then the dancing began ... {see sister and me on the dance floor? hehe}





By the end of the night we were hanging with the band ...
And some how ... I ended up singing ... hehe

The wedding was done, but theres much in store for ate Rich and Kuya Jacob that I am absolutely sure of. Praise God for wedding bliss and for photo fun ... and for opportunities galore.
