1st of Many

My darling godson turned 1 this month.

And boy did we have a mighty good time celebrating!

With Easter close by we painted eggs to celebrate early.

He was sleepy for most of his party but he fought through it.

Lots of people came to party down.

We partied with a pinata head.

Candles and cake helped us celebrate.

Games were also quite a joy as well.

I love this little family of three and I love that little boy to pieces!

September Surprises

To say that this past Saturday was chaotic, is an understatement. Me and my entire fam bam planned the party of the year for my Aunt's 50th birthday. We had a guest list of about 80 people, a time frame of only 3 and a half hours to set up with a limited set of helping hands, and a houseful of surprise for my Aunt.

I got to do all the flower arrangements, though I doubted myself at the beginning, and I was in charge of my aunt's Birthday DVD. Everything turned out swell ... besides the surprise itself, one of my favorite moments of the night was when the sun went down and the back yard lit up with the candles and christmas lights. {Have you ever looked for christmas lights in September? Crazy!}

The night was great fun, full of friends and family,
food and desserts galor, and lots of dancing and laughter.

Surfrise!!!

Though last Saturday was almost ruined by a Hurricane, we still had our "SURFRISE" party for kuya Rudy!

Rio waited for him to come home as we all hid in the kitchen.

Then SURFRISE!!

Everyone was all fun and games.

But the mama and papa we're feeling to good ..
They were troopers for coming out in the rain!

Even Nathan boy made an appearance!!! What a cutie!
