Handmade and Homemade Valentine Goodness

One of my favorite parts of this past week was hand making my Valentine's cards for my mom, sister, and my Tim. hehe ... I was so giddy making these little things and I believe they were a pretty big hit!!! And though I'll save the homemade goodness I whipped up for Valentine's day for another entry ... that part was a very close second place!!!

Before I share the actual cards, I put them all in brown paper packages because I figured I send way to many handmade packages out for complete strangers ... I need to do it more often for the people I love. Now .. here are the cards.

All three cards were made with lots and lots of love...

I had such a great time making them .. and I have a totally new love for cardboard and scrapbook paper, I can't wait to make more cards. Lastly I added a little something something inside Tim's package ... and I printed it from The Small Object's freebies. They are tooo awesome for words.

Me and Tim thumb wrestled on our first Valentine's date together .. I thought this would be cute for our third.

Happy Birthday Rini &Faith! And though Punxsutawney Phil makes his offical forcast today on {Happy Groundhog Day by the way!!!}, a year ago today we made our own debut on Etsy! I couldn't be more proud and more happy with how this little project has turned out and by God's blessing we are continuing to grow and grow as a business. All praise goes to God!

A million thank yous go out to those who've been there to support me, encourage me, inspire me, and also guide me and pray for me through all of this, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! I love you all and I am soo blessed to have such a great support and love all around me. Also thanks you to our AMAZING CUSTOMER! We really couldn't have done it with out you!

A Merry New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve was great fun with the family.

We threw it down at my Aunt & Uncle's house,

and I got to party down with the life of the party!

Hehe!!! Justin is such a cutie!

As the little kids,

And the big kids,

And the bigger kids ...

Played a few games, Friends and family started pouring in to celebrate a wonderful eve.

My super cute, super chubby cheeked best friend showed up without

her wisdom teeth but a super cute smile!!!

My favorite guy also showed up. YAY!

Even my not so real "cousins" showed up and hung out.

And my love real cousins partied down as well.

There was dancing ...

... lots ...

... and lots of dancing.

It was a long night of great fun and laughs with everyone I love.

What a year it has been. It went by far to quickly. But in fairness the Lord has been busy, keeping me busy so for that I am grateful. His love and mercy continue to amaze me as well as the love and friendship of those around me. I can't wait to see all that God does in my life this year and all that He does in the ones I love as well. I'm excited to see Him continue to mold me and make me and change my life with each day that passes by. Praise God for all his graciousness and love and for a new year to look forward too and the excitement of what's to come.

A holly Jolly Christmas

I hope your Christmas was Jolly for you,

spent with the ones you love and the ones who love you.

Though the trees are bare, I hope your heart is full

Of loving,

and laughter,

with a full stomach too.

Surprises for everyone in cards ..

or big boxes.

And of course a big party down at the Laxa's.

There were trees trimmed in lights,

And Family time ...

And awesome presents from love ones of mine!

Enjoying good company,

and games like Taboo.

Singing, and smiling and Christmas cheer too.

Though Christmas is long gone and the year's almost over,

God's love and blessings, a simple thanks can not cover.

It was the birth of a child away in a manger

that still moves and inspires my life forever.
