Collection of the Week {50} - My Urban Wishlist

Oh man does Urban Outfitters have the best little gadgets and gizmos and books ever! Their stuff is so good I've but together my very own wishlist .. hahah nerd I know, their stuff is just too fun. But as fun as it is to put together a list of my own, this is only for kicks and a fun collection to share this week ... nothing serious. So have fun looking at this one, and make a wishlist of your own at Urban ... {you might win something in the process}.

OH how I love a good journal ... this one has my name written all over it!
I think it's about time Mr. Mac-a-roni made a new friend. This is the most perfect speaker and I think I could use a little more volume in my life. My weak sauce speakers do little justice to the amount of time I have Pandora up .. which is 24-7 ... and if you don't know about it already ... beware Pandora is addictive {I can't craft without it} !!!

Old school meets new school cam
By far the most cleverly designed digital camera.
But for that price ... I'd rather buy my dream point and shoot!
Though this is definitely a beauty!
A printer on the go ... literally! AHHHH!!! love it
I love Craft books, this one is no exception.

Ok let me share one more image from Urban's website ...
This is probably my achilles heel... {cameras cameras cameras}
and boy would I'd love to get my hands on a lomo for once in my life.

Get a hold on planning

I love anything that comes in the form of a book. If I'm not reading one, I'm writing or drawing in one .. and if not that, I'm making one. Therefore, it's no mystery that I love and adore a good planner. Because I lack a social life, and classes or assignments to stay on top of, I've gone by most of this year sans a day planner.

But that's going to change. I'm so stunned that this year has already passed us by, and though I've stayed on top of most of my freelance work, my shop, work schedule, church activities, and so on and so forth ... I know I could have been better organized.

I also expected little of this past year. I know that sounds kind of horrible, but by it I mean that I didn't expect anything grand to come of the past few months. I was merrily going on my way without an expectant heart, complacent with just getting by. I've found where I made that mistake, and now I know that my heart should be set on expecting great things from a great God. I should be excited, not apathetic about the future He holds for me and know that even if my own plans are a bit elusive, His plans for me are perfect.
Here's how I plan on being excited for God's plans for me: A planner.

I didn't know a planner could be so insightful. In getting myself a new one ... I can be expectant and excited that the Lord's plans for me will fill up my days, keeping me busy and bringing new experiences, new faces and new blessings into my life. Here are a few planners I've been eyeing .. but can't decide on.

Harpers Ferry

We took a random family trip to Harpers Ferry this weekend, to see
the mountains rolling with color, and to enjoy the autumn breeze.

Words can't tell you how lovely it was out there
Many more photos to come.

SUPER!!

This year for "Holywin" we were Super heroes! Granted only some of us were really Super, the rest of us were "heroes" in one way or another ... it was super none the less. It was also great fun to dress up and be silly, yellow leggings and all and as I was the Yellow Power Ranger, I had back up from The Pink Power Ranger.

There were games, candy, and laughs galore.

After a night of fun ... us "big kids" tried to go the Haunted Forest near my house for more fun and scares, but ended up skipped the long line and headed to Starbucks and IHOP instead. I love my friends.

I love this shot I stole while my BFF was driving.

Super fun times.

Hello November!

I can't believe October has come and gone. It was a crazy month, and the past weekend was a great way to end the month, dispite the pain in my wrist all has been great.

For about a week my right wrist has been killing me making most of my daily activities difficult. I've been making sure to rest my right arm so I've been avoiding doing things like sewing, crocheting, and blogging or basically doing anything online {though I'm a lefty, I use my right hand for alot of basic activities}. I've been resting my wrist as best as I can and so far it isn't hurting quite as bad, uncomfortable maybe, but tolerable.

Since I've put off order for the last week to rest, I've lots to catch up on ... there is also much to blog about, which I'll hopefully get to after this here entry. God's been teaching me and molding me alot this past month and His love and grace have been truly amazing. As for this November there is lots coming up and I'm too excited. Thanksgiving is on the other side of this month and I can hardly wait.
Happy November to you.
{And stay warm out there, the air is quite crisp ... i love it}
