I haven't been blogging about inspiration, fashion, other blogs, or anything else for that matter but this definitely deserves it's own post. I've been following Keiko Lynn's blog since ... last year I think. And without fail I always leave her blog feeling inspired. Her outfits are just to tooo cute, and she really thinks outside of the box. Mod Cloth on the other hand, it's been about a 2 year infatuation for me. There is nothing but amazing products in their store and alot of my key winter pieces were inspired from their stuff. Now this dress ... mama mia .. it is divine! I've been wearing alot of blue dresses lately and how lovely would it be to add this to the collection? GORGE!

Messy Monday
I know this picture isn't the greatest, but it is my Monday's mess. Mama Cakies, Ruby challenged her blog readers to share a few laughs and asked for others to blog their own messes as she did hers. My mess may not looks like a lot but tangled up yarn is a killer {especially if you have 209384750295478 different colors tangled together at once}. And just image whats in the big bag ... more yarn and more tangles!! A crafters worst nightmare! Thank goodness for patient and loving mothers who help make messes with you to help you finish up orders! I love my mom and I love Cakies! Great idea Ruby your so creative!!

Collection of the Week {45}
I'm so excited about this week's collection. I actually had the chance to meet the beautiful minds behind Something's hiding in here, over the weekend at Crafty. Not only are they brilliantly talented and creative ... but they are such sweethearts!!!
Shauna & Stephen's kindness made my day by giving me a little unexpected freebie at the show and as soon as I had the time to, I shot them an email over at their amazing blog to let them know how much I appreciated their generosity and kindess. If you haven't seen their stuff I suggest you visit their shop and blog pronto!!
As you can see their products are too cute for words and I love their muted
color pallet as well as their Gocco printed totes, bags, and signs.

One of my favorite finds at their booth were their mustache products.

Blog love from Martha
Martha Stewart did a "blogging episode" a while back and had both 3191 A year of mornings, and Smitten Kitchen on her show. How awesome! I'd love to get my hands on a copy of A year of mornings!! Their blog is addiction.
Free Branding!!!
The guys at Jesus Branded are tooo kind... my previous entry about their collection of tees was actually a response to an email they sent out giving the opportunity to win a free tee. I didn't happen to win a tee ...
... not right away at least ...
But I did happen to get one awesome and encouraging email from the creative director himself ... that did come with a free tshirt anways. Here's a little part of what the email said;
"the content of your blog was too insightful and well put together to pass up! As a fellow graphic design kid, I wish you the best in what you do, knowing that God will fulfill the potential of those He has created for greatness! My team and I decided to offer you our very sincere thank you for the time you put into it, and so here's ... your free shirt"
Saturday I received my darling little t-shirt in the mail {which came soo fast} and I absolutely love it. Their packaging is great, as well as the quality of their shirts which are super soft. I picked out the "Oil of anointing" which in the inside of tshirt has all of Acts 2 printed.
Happy One Year!

I know this is a little silly of me do this, but I wanted to celebrate my 1 year on blogspot! It was about this time a year ago, I'm not sure of the exact date, but I know it was at the end of July that I finally found myself a creative little outlet that I could also share with others. I had my old school xanga that ran a little personal and was a bit wordy, but I was in need of a place to be inspired, to inspire and share the joys of creativity with the world.
Since starting up this here blog, I've reached a few of my mini goals in the last 12 months. Inspiration was number one on my list, both for myself and for others. I wanted to create a place when I could search and share beautiful things that catch my eye, or find artist who move me to become more creative or simply inspire me to be better at my craft.
I wanted this blog to also be a place to help inspire others to get creative. I think that's been my favorite part of it all. When I hear a kind word here or there that a friend has picked up a camera via inspiration Ica, or if they've picked up crafting of any sort having seen my blog, or just by visiting my blog they've started one of their very own ... all of those things have been a blessing to hear and or see.
Here are a few friends who's loving words have brighten my days, giving me the courage to share my work, and who's inspiration and friendship have been intertwined. {Just to name a few: Big Sis, The Besties: Em, Ly, Gie, Cakies, Reinna Sherie, Richelle Jean, Sheerwhimsy, Tim Tolentino, Aileen, Ate Sha }
Another one of my goals was to get my foot out there in the graphic design industry. And by God's grace I've been given opportunities to do a little freelance work ... and Praise God for friends and the internet which made it possible to do my work.
I hope in this next year I will stumble upon even more lovely finds that I can share with the world, inspire even more people to get creative, and continue to get creative myself. For everyone who's been an inspiration, for everyone who's allowed me to inspire them, and for those who've tuned in and checked out my blog ever now and then: Thank you!

Lets play!
A few weeks ago I worked with Shannon of Projectgrabbag on a large sized poster for her craft shows in exchange I was given one of Shannon's custom made and ever sooo lovely handmade dolls. They are tooo cute and they are earth friendly, made out of mostly recycled material.
I heart Projectgrabbag.
Six degrees of crafting
The world is such a small place. Last month I was given a lovely little camera strap from my Nikon, and it was bought from Maluhia's Etsy Shop. I've taken a good look at the rest of products and all of them are soo cute. I love the fabrics she uses and her secret keepers are such a great idea.
Well this weekend I went to {UM} College Park for the Filippino Culture night to watch Tim and hang with everyone from CP. Of course I hung with this guys, Russ {Tim's roommate} and he soo willing volunteered to be my Rini & Faith model.
As you can see ... he's quite a wonderful model.
Before the show I found my seat and sat with Aimee,
Russ' girlfriend and noticed her ever so lovely little bag.
Russ' girlfriend and noticed her ever so lovely little bag.
It was another one of Maluhia's lovely creation, but Russ came in and said that his cousin's the one who made the bag and that she sells other handmade things. I knew exactly who he was talking about and I was totally excited to have put two pieces together like that. I heart handmade and how it can connect two random people together...
So to end this blog I'm leaving you with the latest

Blissful jewelry
For my birthday Emem dearest bought me some handmade love in the form of a lovely little branch. Her present blew me away and I love Em with all my heart! Yay for Etsy love and friends who give branches! LOL!
I love my Berrie and Branch Necklace from Bliss Jewelry. It' so delicate and lovely, and the touch of color is so fitting. Besides my own Blissful necklace, the rest of the items sold in Rene's shop are wonderfully crafted and beautifully made. I love all of jewelry especially all of her birdie necklaces, I think I'll be getting another blissful piece some time soon.

Birthday Bliss
So my birthday isn't for another five days and I haven't really been big on making plans or on celebrating, birthdays were more exciting when I was younger, but to my delight I got some early birthday bliss from some lovely friends today.

Mr & Mrs Ramos sent their love in the form of a little package with my name on it.

Inside was a card, in a personalized envelope of course, and little handmade jacket for something small and probably lovely.

It matches my Jill Bliss Journal perfectly.
{...goes off to look at the mirror all day... such vanity...}

Collection of the week {21}
1 Project a day.
One project a day, you know you've wanted to, I know I sure do, Crowded Teeth is about 3 lovely months into her "1 project a day" adventures and all of it is way to awesome.
Michelle Romo started this project on November 21, 2007 on her 25th birthday and it ends November 21st this year and each month she takes on a different theme.
This month the theme is "A scene from daily life", last month she took on "Fonts and Typography". All of her work is way to cute and it's work I can relate to. Her typography is so approachable but still full of life and detail. I heart her style.
I'd love to do a "one a day" project myself, and it's funny that this is my 21st week of collections and next week I turn 21 myself. Maybe I in turn should do one myself?
Hmm... but then again maybe not. I have a tendency to take on way to much at one time, like doing a couple of hats in one day, a few graphic design products on top of that and then some sewing love. So "one a day" is like putting a leash on my brain creatively because all of my creativity would be isolated into one project. But it is a lovely idea. Maybe I'll take it on one day. {...goes off to put that on her life to-do list...}
Filipino Buzz

I logged on to Blogger moments ago and saw that the latest news from Blogger Buzz is that Blogger {is} now in Filipino. Good stuff huh?

Etsy Excitement
Etsy here I come!
Slowly but surely I'm getting ready to open up my Etsy shop. Hopefully in a few days my shop will be up and running (and by a few days I mean by next week, hopefully). Please be in prayer for me. I'm a bit nervous, but excited all at the same time. Everyone has been so supportive, and I praise and thank God for friends and family both near and far, for their love and encouragement.
