We are His {poiema}

{poiema} - the Greek word meaning "poem" or work of art.

"We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus

for good works, which God prepared beforehand

that we should walk in them." —Ephesians 2:10

I woke up this morning and the first thing God reminded me was that I am His workmanship. I am His "poem". I am His work of art. I was well in need of an artistic revelation ... putting into perspective what I think is beautiful art. I'm always on the search for beautiful and inspiring art work, yet still there is nothing more beautiful than His masterpieces, His people.

We are not to be the kind of muesum pieces that sit silent on display, for the world to marvel at or admire. We were created to do good. We were created to move and move people. To show God's beauty, not our own, through acts of kindness and of love. We are His poiema, His poem, His work of art.
