Adios my Sherie Amore!

I feel like this all ended as quickly as it began. A little phone call at the beginning of the month started an entire month's worth of adventures with the little Reinnasaurus that could. I didn't know what was instore for the weeks ahead, and neither did Reinna or any one else for that matter, but God's plans quickly unraveled as the days went by.

The days went by fairly quickly and sad to say, today marks the end of a beautiful two weeks with the ever so lovely Reinna Sherie. I knew the end would come eventually and just as I'd expected, it was hard to say our goodbyes, though the tears I hadn't truly expected. Me and Rein had joked about crying up a storm when we'd have to say goodbye, and when I dropped her off into the hands of the darling Tibayans no tears were present, it was later when the tears came.

For the ten years I've known Reinna all we ever do is write to each other, even when we're together we'll write each other. During Reinna's stay I'd leave love notes for her to read when I'd go off to work in the morning, and then I'd come home only to get one in exchange. It was but fitting to have written each other farewell letters at the end of this wonderful little journey.

I admit, I finally cried because of Reinna's beautiful words of encouragement, gratitude, love and friendship ... and because of how much I already miss this girl. And although I already wrote all I wanted to share with her in that farewell letter of hers, I still want to give her a huge shout out on this here blog.

Dearest Reinna,
There will never be enough words to express how blessed I am to have you in my life and to have such a beautiful friendship with you though all these years and through the distance. It was a completely blessing to have your company these last two {almost three} weeks and I praise God for all the time we got to spend together laughing, cuddling, site seeing, talking, talking about life's stuggles and hardships, or talking of God's mercy and unconditional love. I miss you terribly though I bet your family has missed you more. Know that I'm always praying for you and never lose heart ... but find strength in the Lord and hold firm to His loving hand. I'm always, always here for you, I love you and "may the Lord bless you and keep you... and give you PEACE" {hahahah .... that shouldn't be funny but it is ... hehe}

I'll be waiting for our next set of adventures together, but till then take care of yourself love and I'll be looking forward to exchanging our cross country love letters once again!

{stay tuned for pictures from our two weeks of adventures }

Part time Lovers

i heart this girl forever!

NYC

We're back and exausted ... but it was well worth it!
{.. there's much more from our crazy day in NY ..}

This Time Tomorrow...

We'll be on our way up to the beautiful NYC!

There's soo much to do up there, we haven't quite figured out what we'll be capable of in one day's time. I'm ready to slip away for a moment, kind of like what Reinna's done for the past two weeks, slip away for the chaos of my everyday life and runaway to a city that isn't mine. It's been ages since I've been to New York and I miss it dearly. I can't wait to show Reinna my favorite parts of The City that Never Sleeps. And I figured that a day isn't nearly enough time to see the city so she's just going to have to come back some day and stay with me in New York for about a week and venture into every corner of the city till we're satisfied. I'll be seeing you suckers later...

Have a lovely weekend!

{CHECK OUT: The Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend!}

The Cherry Trees are going to be at their peak and the city will be covered in this beautiful pink snow! Hopefully we'll be able to wake up after the long night of traveling back from NY Friday night and catch the Festival early Sat. Morning, hopefully...

Dinner on the town

My blogging has gone slightly askew, and slightly out of order so though this happened before Easter weekend it's still something worth blogging about. The other weekend after a lovely Good Friday service the few of us who were hungry had dinner on the town.

Rocking my lovely camera strap from The Bratchers.

Easter Baskets

The morning was lovely and a little chilly {it was cold enough to see your breath} ... but it was still lovely out. It was refreshing morning after a hectic and crazy night in which sister dearest and lovely miss Reinna were there too keep me together.

I love these two.

Church was lovely and the cantata went well.

Then we hunted for Easter eggs with the kids and played a few games.

{ps. I miss this beautiful lady.
I love my sister and I was happy to have spent Easter with her.}

For Easter my mom played with some action figures.. hehe... I love her!

Later we had a "big kids" Easter egg hunt at my
cousins house and pigged out on our Easter dinner.

Reinnasaurus and her favorite egg

Sharing my eggs with the always late, brother of mine.

and yes I broke the rules .... I put all my eggs in one basket.

Praise God for the cross , for the beautiful gift of salvation,
and for the unmeasurable, and gracious love of a Savior.

Improv Everywhere

My cousin Gina finds the funniest things online. She shared a few of these with me and some friends and I can't get enough of it.

Improv Everywhere is a team of improv agents in the NYC area who perform pranks, in the masses. The things they do are too funny and I've decided to add "participating in an Improv Everywhere event" to my life to-do list.

Coming soon...

Rini & Faith will be listing new spring items soon...

{check out the R&F blog}

Happy Easter!
