A Florida affair

I spent the weekend in Florida. And though I had a pretty good time, I'm so glad my feet are back on the ground and that I'm home.

Though so much didn't go as planned, the wedding was lovely and that's what mattered.
There is so much to share, but so little time. I'm just blessed to be home.

Me and sister are completely addicted to this song ... and can't you just invision someing playing this at your wedding? We could. Hehe. We're sap balls .. we know that full well. But man this song is so bewitching, it's stunning.

I know this song is a love song, but I could also imagine singing this to the Lord for how good His love is and how much I need Him. :)

Not a finalist, nor a winner ... but my oh my

Along with four others I ended up being a runner up!!! This just made my week.

10 days ago my best friend sent me a link to a photo contest she thought I should take a look at or even enter. And so I took her advice and entered. I didn't think much would happen and to be honest I actually forgot about it since entering the contest so this was such a surprise.

I love Mango RED

I love when friends share links, blogs, art, photos .. anything really that they think I'd fancy. And man I'm oh soooo greatful for Mrs. Ramos over there in sunny California for sharing a link to her highschool friends' wedding photographer's blog {a mouth full i know but hope your still with me.. hahah} LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! May I add, these is the work of her highschool friends' wedding photography. I love their work so much I had to blog it ASAP! Beautiful doesn't even begin to describe their work.

Their work and style has the likings of a growing favorite of mine, Tec Petaja and with the editorial flair like that of Lauren Dukoof.

But what gets me the most is that their work is this incredible though they've humble stated they haven't had formal art school training or even hold degrees in the beauty that they make. It's something I can resonate with, which is a huge encouragement ... giving me hope in everything I do, make, or create on my own.

Sigh ... Their work is like walking through a beautiful dream that you never want to end.

I've been patiently waiting for my birthday present from my sister to arrive in the mail ... and I'm getting a bit antsy, so while waiting here are a few of the shoes I'm thinking of ordering from Ruche to match my dress. Make you feel my love

I love sharing stuff, especially stuff I really love or enjoy and I love posting them here on my blogs so that other's can enjoy them too. But every so often I find things that I'd rather not share so that I can keep to myself till I'm ready to share it, or till I find a perfect opportunity to share it.

This song has been of those. I love this too much that I haven't been ready to share it ... silly I know, a little selfish .. that too ... but now I feel the need to share it.

It's been a emotional weekend, and I've been struggling because a near and dear friend of mine has been broken almost to the point where he nearly gave up on himself, on life, on God, on me ... but I wouldn't let him.

God is to good and to great of a God to give him more than he can handle, though I know at times it seems like what we go through is unbareable, even then God is there to sustain us with His perfect love, strength and guidance. I wrote an entry all about it, but I wanted to write one more with a help of one of my favorite tunes.

Though I mean this with a platonic love, I hope feel my love dearest friend.
{But don't forget .. God loves you much more than I ever could}

Belated Birthday Blog

I'm finally blogging about my birthday. Though it's been weeks now.

First I had midnight cupcakes with my little family .. and

devoured sister's yummy yummy cupcakes!

For my birthday all I wanted was some Spicy Pickle for lunch.

To Tim took me out for lunch to do just that ... of course with my little Princess Tiara on.

Another YARD BIRD!!! YAY!!!

I was super excited and I was glad Tim tried it and actually liked it ... but I only shared a bit with him and devoured the rest. Hahahah! After a yummy lunch Tim wanted to give me part of my birthday present...

My present came in the form of a song.

After spending the afternoon with Tim goofing off {climbing stuff} and finally watching The Dark Knight together {I took me forever to see it I KNOW!} .. we went out for dinner with the fam bam, the sisters.
